This past weekend was epic. Friday night I led a packed house of diverse, sexy, powerful women through The Beyonce Yoga Experience.
We listened to Queen Bey. We flowed. We danced. We sang the entire time. We twerked. We laughed. Some cried. It was truly magical.
I was in my element in the best possible way. It rocked.
Afterwards I was wearing my new I SLAY tank and a guy asked me What do you slay??
Quite simply I replied, I slay at life.
Duh. But it got me thinking.
I started to look around at all of the facets of my life and realized that this statement feels truer than ever before.
Each morning I sit before my alter and affirm all of the things I need and want in my life. All of my desires.
Each one begins with the statement “I am worthy of” and then I add in what I know and want to be worthy of.
I’ve been doing it for about 6 months back when I noticed a lot of what I was trying to attract into my life wasn’t quite happening. Not exactly.
So now when I notice something I need I just add it to the list.
I’m at 18 “I am worthy of…” statements right now. It ebbs and flows with many that stay consistent.
And recently I look around in the corners and crevices of my life and realized that more and more I am seeing what I have been affirming.
There they are. Front and center. In my life.
And the difference between the way I’ve called things in in the past and now is that I am in a space to receive them. Because I realize I am worthy of them. Because I say so every single day.
And the really interesting thing about this is that my word of the year is RECEIVE.
I pick one every single year. A word and energy I want to embody my entire year. It sits right on my alter reminding me every single day.
You can manifest shit until the cows come home but if you aren’t in a space to actually receive fully and in all totality you never actually will.
I finally feel like I’m getting better at receiving. Because I’m understanding my worthiness. And it feels so good.
Want to create your own worthiness meditation?
Just sit, take some breaths (I do a bunch of other stuff like kriyas and chanting too) and then repeat “I am worthy of..”.add your desires.
I do this whole thing 3 times. I say it out loud.
Try it. It’s a lovely way to think about what you really want and call it in.
Do you have any rituals you do every morning?? I’d love to hear!
